Jaguar F-Pace 300 Sport headlines updated 2019 range

New value-added models diversify line-up, alongside range-wide update

Jaguar has given its top-selling F-Pace a gentle update for the 2019 model year, with new 300 Sport and Chequered Flag models adding to the F-Pace’s value equation.

The 300 Sport is available with both the 297bhp version of Jag’s Ingenium turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine and the 3-litre V6 turbo diesel with the same power figure, both of which are connected to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

These models follow the XE and XF 300 Sport by including some bespoke styling, here made up from matte grey trim elements around the windows, grille and side vent. The same colour is applied to the standard-fit 22-inch wheels, but 20s are available if buyers prefer the smaller wheel size. Colours are limited to three options – white, grey and black. Inside is a bespoke combination of black leather contrasted with yellow stitching on the seats, doors and dash.

In addition to the new 300 Sport is the Chequered Flag limited edition, which brings with it a similar combination of aesthetic upgrades, but adds yet more bespoke elements, as well as a generous increase in standard equipment over a normal R-Dynamic-specification F-Pace. This limited edition is available with the P250 turbocharged petrol engine, and D180 and D240 diesel powertrains, carefully avoiding the engine options available in 300 Sport models, of course.

These new models have been brought in alongside a set of subtler upgrades across the range focused on reducing CO2 outputs with new OEM tyre fitments, while all models are now fitted as standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The special edition F-Paces are on sale now, with prices starting at £46,995 for the Chequered Flag D180, and rising to £54,990 for the 300 Sport D300.
